Queuing for the New Normal

Last weekend, we went kayaking in the Chicago river. Afterwards, as we stood in line for a patio table at the Metropolitan Brewery.

Waiting there, with lines drawn 6 feet apart on the floor, it seemed to me that this is now the ‘new normal’. We cannot be certain how long things will remain this way. But looking at the way America is doing, it might be a long time.

It was taking too long. So we decided to pick up beers and head off instead. I’m happy I got this drawing down before we left.
