Artist Market #005 for SneakyArt of Eau Claire

It began as a cloudy early morning, with week-long threats of rain and storm on the horizon of my weather app. However, we got a beautiful sun, some clouds and a big blue sky instead. Perfect day for SneakyArt, drawing as well as selling!

I took time out to sketch a little more today, as compared to previous artist market events. I get tired of sitting cooped up in my stall!

So every few minutes I would get up to stretch my legs + artistic muscles. I initially thought I would draw all the different stalls around me. But that cannot happen at the same time that I run my own stall!

So I drew Amy’s Custom Designs. She is a regular at the Phoenix Park Artists Market, and sells all kinds of beautiful jewelry and custom made designs. I got into the details as she was setting up for the morning, and forgot to keep time aside to draw other stalls too. But no regrets in SneakyArt. :)

Once more people started walking by, to and from the Farmer’s Market, I had to sit at the stall. I occupied my slack time by drawing the people walking by.

It wasn’t easy, because I didn’t always have a great view. So I had to be very quick and instinctive. Sharp lessons!

We sold 10 books in all, and some prints of SneakyArt as well. A great day!
